Cups

The Lincs SRA organises three knockout cup competitions a season. These are the Parker Cup, "the FA Cup of Lincolnshire squash", a straight knockout between teams of five men. The Kesteven Cup is a competition with teams comprising of two men, two women and one veteran (over 45), while the Alford Cup is based on teams of five over 35 players.


Lincolnshire Cups 09/10

The first round cup draws of the 2009/10 County Cups have been made and are as follows. All ties are one leg only and to be played at the home club of the left hand team.

Matches to be played week commencing 25th January, which is reserved for the Parker Cup.

Alford Cup - five players over the age of 35

Kesteven Cup - two men, two women and an over 45

Grantham vs. Eastgate

RAF Cranwell vs. Metheringham

No week has been reserved for the quarter finals stage of this competition, and so captains should arrange it mutually. The fixtures must be played before the week commencing 22nd February, which is reserved for the semi-finals.

We have fixed the date and venue for the finals of all these competitions: Sunday 18th April, commencing 2:00pm at Metheringhm Squash Club.


Lincolnshire Cups 08/09

Congratulations are due to all the winners of last season's competitions. In the mixed Kesteven Cup final Boston defeated Eastgate. Gantham were victorious in the over 35s Alford Cup, Boston finishing runners-up, while the Parker Cup was won by Eastgate, who beat Grantham in the final.
